Make your first play at BKD
As a member of the Health Care Group, you may work on a variety of financial, billing and compliance projects, but a primary focus would be in reimbursement consulting services. You will be trained in the preparation of annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, and other projects as experience is gained. In addition, this individual could be involved with various Medicare and Medicaid projects including general reimbursement topics and may be asked to assist with research in numerous regulatory areas with our Health Care and hospital clients.
Successful candidates possess the following attributes:
- Professional appearance and disposition
- Highly detail oriented
- Strong initiative and problem solving abilities
- Commitment to client service
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Public accounting experience in Audit a plus
- Background in accounting or finance preferred
- Ability to prioritize work for multiple clients and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong computer skills and comfort with various computer applications, including Windows, Adobe, Internet applications and others
