Assistant CFO/Administrative Director of Finance
Hill Country Memorial (HCM) is an award winning and financially sound not-for-profit system located in Fredericksburg, Texas. HCM includes a comprehensive array of services across its 15 locations. Its 86-bed hospital, medical group, multiple outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery center, home health and hospice care covers nearly 7,500 square miles across eight Hill Country counties. The system also includes a well-established foundation and is part of a newly formed Accountable Care Organization. Hill Country Memorial has been named a top 100 hospital 8 times in its history. Most recently in 2019 by IBM Watson Health.
The newly created Administrative Director of Finance is a critical and key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. S/he is primarily responsible for accounting, treasury, financial and statistical reporting, supply chain, operations analysis, forecasting and projections, revenue integrity, and contracting across the health system. This leader will be an integral part of providing strategic finance insights and recommendations for both short-term and long-term financial plans .The incumbent will Lead and develop a diverse, highly qualified team built upon deep knowledge and experience with exceptional technical and analytical skills.
The ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive hospital, medical group or health system financial leadership experience. S/he will be an excellent communicator who is high energy, eager to learn and enjoys developing others. A Master’s degree and/or CPA are a plus but not required
